Bit off on this CPO a few weeks ago. A little short on options but long on interior/exterior desirability. I'll be looking at it 100% of the time I'm in it so that was the driving factor. Pictured with its '14 ML350 cousin and in the garage with the GTO. 999 hp total there.
Must update my profile to reflect new addition-GL350 Diesel

I think it's marketing 101 and $ have something to do with it. That's why all us Mercedes Fans know where to gravitate to get "every option" automatically - you know what I'm talking about. Now if I could only find a wrecker that I could strip the interior of all the options to install in my R/my CLK/my S/my GL and those AMG seats - and then activate them all in the computer, no too much work - just go and buy an AMG version or an S600. They'll really only give you one or two choices of options instead of 15 or so with the GL etc.

Reason: attached photo of my new GL
I'm thinking to plasti-dip the OEM benz rims. I'm thinking black or a gold color. All of the GL's I see in my area have either the stock OEM rims or a small percentage has black rims. I'm thinking to try plasti-dipping the rims of my GL a gold shade. Anyone wanna try photoshopping the tires on my car so I could see how it looks or anyone wanna give advice if I should try it? Even if it doesn't work, I could always peel off the plasti-dip.
You're reading my mind - I have a black GL350 with the AMG sport package and have wondered about the new AMG 22s (the black and silver ones - beautiful design - any idea on pricing for these beautiful wheels you have from the GLS? Kind of reminiscent of the McClaren.
My 2013 GL350. Just started my third year with him since I bought preowned from dealer. Been thru some utility modifications such as roof basket, LED spot/flood lights, solar panel mounted on roof basket, hitch cargo carrier with LED rear lights, upsized off-road/snow tires on 20” rims. Have been travel with him for over 40,000 km around Canada and US. Small issues here and there but overall quite a happy owner 275/55r20 ko2’s filled up the wheel well . No rubbing at all
Snow performance is amazing still. I had same tires on my truck before and they saved me multiple times.
Sits nicely on high suspension. Looks good as well in some dirt n snow.
Been traveling with this rig for two years. No major hiccups just some small issues here and there. I love the tire setup as it can handle quite a good amount of snow as well as Florida sunshine.
Took me home safe and sound. That’s the only thing matters.
Seems I never posted a pic here of our 550 only posted in my build thread.
