converting to a convertible top on w210
I have heard that there are body shops in California that can convert a sedan to a convertible.
Anyone in Cali know a place i can ship my 1997 e 420 to for this conversion and approx how much $ ?
What about places in Florida, where I am?

Why don't you just buy a 98--03 CLK convertible? Since the W208 CLK and W210 E-class look alike exteriorly. It will be a total waste of money and I couldn't agree more with the statement about the resale value.

...if you want to get a convertible with poor handling quality and lots of body flex - just get an american made Mustang...no need to ruin a W210 for that...
