Holy RANT!!!
what a waste of my time listening to a small part of that
dealer gives him $200,000 car to drive while he waits for his ride to be regulated.. sorry pal, your life sucks
how about hire some representation and get your money back and walk away. The millennial urge to chronicle their struggles (that are real) on YouTube and social media is amazing

I hope this gets resolved before my car gets here. This is not good!

I admit I'm struggling a bit to understand how what's happened to him is worthy of all the dirt he's kicking up about it. Did MB-Canada make a mistake? Yes. And they offered him unconditional use of a $200k car while they correct the mistake. Yeah, they should probably throw in the prepaid maintenance or something, but reading the YouTube comments (never a good idea), they're reacting like they stole his car back in the night and refused to reimburse him for it.
And there's nothing for people with cars on order to worry about; they'll get the certification documentation done in the next few weeks and all will be good. Really not a big deal.

I managed to coordinate buybacks of two custom ordered 2014 e550 vehicles in 2013/2014 without being a ***** and without a lawyer and without ranting on YouTube with this millennial drivel
google "peterubers rough shifting " and "peterubers replacement lovely"

Wow. I could only get past the first 3 minutes of his little panic stricken eyes and huffy puffy rant before I closed it out. It's absolutely nothing to panic about. Take the nice gesture from the dealership and move on. Seeing a grown *** man with his little cutesie tribal tattoos whine about his car and how tragic life is makes me nauseous.
Some people are such little soft crybabies.

he needs to go volunteer his upcoming weekend at a homeless shelter and then go back and grab the keys to that SL63 and enjoy his summer with a huge grin on his face

Well, Im an old guy (50) and I have to disagree with most of you..
The guy bought a car and they want it back. He doesn't have to give it back and thats a legal issue in itself.
I think MB should give him incentive to turn it in above and beyond a loaner car.
If it was me and I couldn't drive it after I bought it, I might sue them for neglecting to tell me it couldn't be registered. For denying me the right to drive a vehicle I own. For damages incurred from canceled vacations, cancelled parts and damages to my reputation from all of the people he probably pissed off like tuners, wrap guys, tint guys, parts vendors, etc.
I bet if he brought a suit against them they would be willing to do more than offer a loaner car. The point is that MB messed up and he is greatly inconvenienced for it.
They should work it out with him. In addition, I think his occupation is a youtube poster so he is also being denied income revenue from being unable to document his car.
My 2 cents..

It's not just that. If his situation truly does get litigious, he just gave a statement in a public forum for the other side to see. I guarantee that a large portion of what he said is not 100% accurate and instead is very sensationalized. He'll probably wish he had just shut up.
It's no different than everyone coming on this forum and talking about all the warranty-voiding modifications they've done to their cars. When the poo hits the fan and your engine and transmission blow out, you've just made it extremely easy for the dealership to find out your car's truth.

"greatly inconvenienced" vs his YouTube reputation will be damaged. How much does a YouTube guy get paid? And a $200,000 car doesn't make up for this inconvenience ... on which planet?

either way you bring up a great point... old or old at heart you choose to negotiate any issues in your life man to man and directly with those causing you conflict. Granted, exceptions occur, but this guy has t been seriously violated and if he feels like they haven't compensated him for the "trouble" with a $200,000 car that he can put wear and tear on, then he's got much more life to live or more experience to have ... versus this reflex rant on YouTube to try and "take down the man"
