Stage 2
Looking for a Stage 2 tune with catless-downpipe options in Chicago Illinois area. Prefer an ECU flash over a piggyback. Any recommendations?

well you can’t really do a stage 2 piggyback. Once you go Cat less you will get a CEL that has to be coded out by coding in the ECU. Find a shop local that works with one of the bigger companies (weistech, renntexh, dime, OE). They can remove the ECU and have it sent out for flashing. Maybe there is a tuner in that area that does flashing in house but someone else can chime in.

I do have OE tuning in my mind but before I make such decisions, I'm just trying to find out if there is anything available locally.

I am in the same boat, and looking for the same type of shop. I've used Speedriven in Palatine, IL in the past for my E63 for Eurocharged tunes but they're not responsive currently. I wonder if they shut down for some reason.

I know of a few but it would really depend on what you needed done to make an appropriate recommendation.

would they be providing their own custom tune? or will they be using an existing map by a large company and just flashing the ecu for us?

interesting never heard of them? Are they relatively new? Do they have a dyno? I see they have a kit out for the 4.0 bi turbo with a custom tune. Seems what the op is looking for. If you do it let us know how they are.

The tuning/tuner story is neat.
Nice to have a hands-on option close to those in greater Chicago area/southern WI. I think they will do good things and be a player in the upper end world.

just an FYI. Spoke with speed driven today. They currently are not shut down. They arnt taking on any big projects however. They will do small 1 to 2 day stuff. This is due to potentially moving to a new location or merging with another tuning company in another state. They said they will update on their Facebook page when the decision is made.
