Replacement head unit options

Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy my wife a more modern head unit for Christmas. She dries a 2010 e350.
I saw the thread below regarding the 10.5 inch screen, but that thread is extremely confusing to browse through. I've searched through google and found very limited options, the fit on the 10.5 inch looks very awkward and not factory. If that's the only route, it's the one I'll take. Her car is equipped with the factory navigation screen.
Can anyone help with some head unit recommendations and where to buy? My wife's car does not allow audio over blutooth, I believe that feature was added in 2011 but can be programmed into the 2010's. If I can't find a solution for an aftermarket head android head unit I like I might just do that.

Thanks in advance! Not starting a war (I promise) but it's amazing how few options there are for droid head units when compared to my little bimmer!

I'm intrigued but no mention if all of the factory screens are still available as well...settings, car, owner's manual, etc.

You would loose the Command functions with this unit.

Best option would be to go with the 10.5 inch screen because it has the OE comand functions and its pretty much the updated look on newer mercedes.

That may be the route I take. I don't really know what I'd lose with Comand functions being lost, since I don't really drive the car. All we are really looking for is a better nav system (Waze), continued bluetooth support for calls (and audio, since we don't have that), stereo controls, use of the backup cam, and internet video (youtube/netflix) for our daughter when she's in the car seat.

The 10.5 looks so out of place, but if that's the only functional option that's what we'll go with. Any recommendations on the best place to purchase?

I've decided to go with this Naviks screen mirroring video interface.

Aside from what it likely a max 480p type resolution on the factory nav screen, this seems superior in every way to the options I've seen. Those after install photos on the screens sold by chris the swede would be unbearable to look at for me. Exposed metal on the sides, no flush fitment, would drive me crazy. The amount of issues people are having with those screens blows my mind, that thread is a mess.

clean? interface looks like trash
