Belay that.
Just got a call, he offered his first car, on the water now, delivery in less then a month.
Unfortunately I am not interested, White with Saddle GT63S and no CCBs (I could live with color but not without the brakes).
No info whatsoever regarding ED1.

My former employer (in the 80s) but no, my dealer is Knauz.
I have #1 position for ED 1 with them but most likely will not take it, tried the 2018 leftover Supersports at Steve Foley and was blown away (750lbs torque, 750HP).
They offer a lease for 36 month at $2495, no down, on a $346k car.
Autohaus offered a new S63 (MSRP $172k) at just around $3k same term but with $25k (!!) Cap reduction.

wow, leasing doesn't seem too smart, and yes I have been talking to autohaus. The AMG sales expert there seems sharp, nice and very professional. I normally don't lease cars, especially on a car like this, I will see how they will do on a trade for my RS7

$202k is a lot to pay for a rebodied E63S Estate with different transmission tunnel trim, vent design, and rear steering hardware. $96k over the E gets you 0.1sec in the 1/4 mile.

While they might find one sucker to pay that much, I agree that the car as gorgeous as it is very expensive, especially considering it is based on the E-class platform.

First batch will sell quickly to those guys that always MUST HAVE the newest and the hottest new car.
After that, they will sit on the dealer lots until they get some heavy discounting.
