Double clutch gearbox
Do the 2009 sl 63 have a double clutch gearbox?
I thought it only had lost the torque converter for quicker shifts, but after seeing Jay leno's garage, where he says it has a double clutch gearbox, I had to ask.

No, it has a wet multiclutch instead of a torque converter. Different technology than the dual clutch (dual clutch is better)

How did you come up with the fact that a multiclutch can last indefinitely? Quite the opposite?
Dual clutch is a different system altogether, where you can get the impression that you have two transmissions in one that can shift extremely quickly as it prepares the next gear while running. Multiclutch is just the torque converter.
