W222 S65 owners - where you at?
Hey guys! Just wanted to see where the W222 S65 owners are at here! Sorry for not posting this in the W222 AMG section, however that forum seems very ‘dead’ and unused, thought I’d try in here!

Here are a couple of marginal pictures of my 2006 S65, sold in 2015. The exterior/interior colors are Bordeaux/Java, apparently the only W220 S65 delivered to the US in that color combo. It was Eurocharged tuned, made a significant difference

I was looking for a new S65 back in 2006 and all I saw locally were black and silver cars with black interiors. I saw the Bordeaux/Java car online at the Las Vegas dealer. My wife and I were on the plane the next morning to buy it and drive it home.
The 2015 S65 still has low mileage, I was going to get a new one but there are none and I am uncertain about the S63 Performance model. I plan to keep it a while longer. We keep our cars garaged, clean and detailed. Our local MB dealer has an excellent detail shop so I just have it done there, I get a preferred customer discount and a free loaner if I need one, probably because I own too many AMG's.

I was thinking of the S63 Performance model, post facelift. However I am not sure I want one now that I have seen the prefacelift and the configurator. The Manufactur Program now seems to be just a few options rather than a bespoke program as it initially started out. We looked at ordering a Bentley Flying Spur Speed W12 but are now holding off.One issue with the Final Edition is neither my wife or I want an all black car.

You can always choose the final year model ( not the all black one ) but then it’s basically the same car . Still there would be something special about getting that last year model . I might add a coupe 19’ later on .
