Description:
I am considering selling my C63, still making up my mind.
It had the airbags recall done and recently a complete software update for the transmission and stability control. The car got converted to Mercedesme by the dealer. When new, it was using an older system. However, now the mercedesme has become obsolete, but the ap worked for me for a long time.
It was never modified, has all the catalytic converters and factory software.
The only improvements are the 10.25" Android display and dashcams, as well as reverse camera (aftermarket, but using OEM harness)
It runs great, had a lot of maintenance in the last 6 years, between 50 and 80 K miles, all parts were replaced by me with OEM:
Battery
Two serpentine belts with the first replacement including all the pulleys and tensioner
Two sets of air filter replacements
Partial power steering fluid replacement with reservoir replacement for the filter
Rear non locking diff fluid replacement (this was Fuchs fluid)
Transmission oil and filter complete replacement with torque converter oil replacement
Fuel filter and canister on the driver side
Rear mufflers mounts and rubber hangers
Sets of wiper blades
Thermostat with partial Mercedes antifreeze mix replacement
Headlight lenses (with the Bimmerjakes ones)
Roof rain covers
Spark Plugs
Injectors (with Bosch OEM Spec)
Brake Rotors and pads front and rear
Windshield rain sensor
Ignition lock motor (aftermarket)
Cupholder chrome trim
Driver's window module, (the chrome was starting to peel)
Foglight trims
Battery sensor
Temp spare wheel tire (Continental brand new tire, OEM spec)
Fuel pressure sensor
Engine and transmission mounts
Several dealer alignments, that reduced wear in the rear.
Valve cover gaskets
All oxygen sensors
MAF sensors are new OEM, boxes are US market
PCV Valve
Intake manifold gaskets with OEM Aluminum bolt replacement.
Rear plastic connector to intake manifold and line with OEM.
Lower bumper center grill
Pollen filter (aftermarket)
Rear passenger side grab handle
The wire harnesses to the lumbar support adjustments have been fixed.
The car will come with a Mercedes outdoor car cover, with matching bag and lock.
The car comes with a clear title and the lean release.
The factory options that I'd like to highlight here are the Avantgarde springs, which provide a subtle lower ride with factory comfort and control, the TPMS high which show individual tire pressures and the HID headlights with automatic adjustment. Their start-up routine adds to the exhaust drama.
The car runs good, has sometimes the cam tick on the passenger side, not better or worse than when I bought it years ago. If it doesn't run for a week or more it will rattle the cam phasers, but if it runs several times a week, it won't, just like when I bought it, 6 years ago.
The body looks great and better than the mileage it has, I never had any accidents with it.
I don't race it, am quite sure I will not race it in the future, if I keep it.
Will need rear tires to pass inspection.
I'd like to keep it, but consider selling it.

I had them done at the dealer, with heads removal.
on this occasion, the following were replaced with OEM:
1. Head gaskets and new style bolts.
2. All lifters
3. Chain tensioner pads
4. Turned out that the radiator had a leak, a new OEM radiator was installed
5. Overflow reservoir was replaced
6. All new OEM antifreeze.
7. New Diamond washers and bolts
8. New radiator hoses
The cams were deemed to be good and the cam phasers were cleaned out and reinstalled. I have the dealer receipt that proves the work was done. Also they warranty it for one year.
Since then, I did other things as well:
New OEM caliper bleeder screws
New rear view camera
New set of Michelin OEM size S4 (the summer tire, not the All Season 4)
I think I replaced again the OEM battery, but I'll check on that.
New OEM front shocks and swaybar links
New aftermarket front lower suspension thrust arms with ballbearing bushing (rose joint) Synchro Design Works
While the car was at the dealer, they evaluated it for the rear subframe recall, it didn't need it.
