My check engine light came on and I have a code of P0447, Vent Control Circuit Open. Does anyone have experience with this code? Thanks for any help. Nor

Thanks for your response. I started with the gas cap, thoroughly cleaned the gasket seal and replaced the cap. The check engine light was no longer illuminated. I saw, while investigating new gas caps, that the seal is sold separately. I returned the OEM gas cap that I purchased and will order the seal.

I replaced the gas cap seal and the light went away for a couple of days. I filled the tank with fuel and drove the car for about two days when the light came on again. I am now moving to the vent control valve. Can anyone tell me where to locate the valve under the hood. I don't have a service manual, so a good description will be helpful. Insight out there?
