722.9 slipping after rebuild
So I have a 2006 e350 with the 7g Transmission. Had to have the conductor plate repaired so while it was out, I put all new clutches in. I air check all of the drums and found zero leaks anywhere and there was zero signs of heat stress on any of the steels. The clutches all still had writing on them as well so I assume they had not worn much. Well I reused the old converter, put the conductor plate back on and reassembled the transmission. NOw I have a 0741 code after driving it for two days and it slips a light throttle 1,2,3, and 4. Heavier acceleration and it shifts fine but slower acceleration gives slip in standard mode. Comfort mode seems to shift just fine but I still have the code issue. Is there anyone on this forum that can help me diagnose what the issue is. I think that the converter is going to need replacing but I just want to be sure. This is the only code and it drives down the highway at 96*c. Thank you

I would strongly advise you quickly google MB fault code P0741 as there are various reasons within the transmission system that that fault would appear

Sorry for the delay. I am unable to come up with anything to enlighten me. Either I cannot word it correctly or my specific issues are not out there. If I am thinking correctly. The shift issues could be a relearn deal that goes away after the strategies update. I cannot find any info on the fluid temp sensor. 0741 says people change the converter.

Slip could mean
insufficient clamping pressure which could be pump valve or seal problem
insufficient plate friction coefficient which could be bad or wrong clutch plate or bad, wrong or insufficient oil
code could be an electrical problem ie loose or damaged wire or sensor, causing bad command to valves causing slip
You need a comprehensive transmission diagnostic procedure, eg WIS/XENTRY and a rebuilder’s manual. I don’t have one to offer.
