W166 - CPS (Crankshaft Postion Sensor)
P03022 (Fault code is not found in database) and P030300 (misfiring of Cylinder 3). I have put in a new set of sparkplug swapped coil pack. The P030300 did not follow to another cylinder that I was hoping for. My next move is to replace the CPS sensor since I have around 84k miles. I have replace few of these on my old M113 motor around 80-90k miles timeframe. I only get these 2 codes only when I'm more then 1/2 on the throttle (half load). It feel like it skipping a beat then it goes into limp mode and feel like one of the cylinder is shut down (misfiring). Until I clear the code then it's back to normal. This is the same thing happen the first time I experience it on my M113 back over 14 years ago.
If anyone that done it on the M276 remind you my M276 is equipped with Bi-Turbo. Do you need to drop the catalytic converter to get access to the sensor? When I did it on the M113 motor I got access from the top (tight fit).

When were the main and aux batteries replaced?

Aux battery was just replace couple of weeks ago or so. The main 2-3 years ago both are OEM from the dealer.
P03022 means the PCM received an unusual input signal from the distributor or crankshaft position sensor, due to their misalignment. I always see issue with a CPS between 80k-90k miles. I have seen multiples symptoms on the CPS issue. This typical symptom It's having now is identical the symptom I experienced before.

Finally got it done. If anyone is wondering just loosen up the catalytic converter without removing it and move it to the side. You gain full access to the sensor from the bottom of the vehicle.
