A lesson in retail integrity.

Recently, a client with a C118 went to install what was claimed to be an original AMG Aerodynamic rear spoiler kit. However, a friend and car enthusiast, pointed out that the parts were not genuine Mercedes-Benz products.
Seeking our assistance, they requested that we remove the installed components. Upon closer inspection, we confirmed that the parts were not even close to factory quality.
I'm not shooting down aftermarket products though. I just want to emphasize that passing off non-original parts as factory-produced items is an unfortunate practice that should never happened.
Anyway, hoping this would raise a little awareness and maybe give people some clues on the differences between what you should get when you pay for it.
