Hello guys. I know the short answer to my question is no. However here's the thing. The code is P052E which I already had once in 2021, and the dealer fixed it immediately. But after three years the code came back and the dealer told me that this part is still covered by warranty, which is very good, but the part is back ordered, and ETA is over a month. I called another dealer near me; they don't have the part either.
So... what should I do? It will be extremely inconvenient if I cannot drive it. The eigne light even disappeared after a short while (it's still there...). The service guy at dealership told me I can drive it, but seriously? I searched it online and I think people are saying that's perhaps okay for a short trip but certainly not a month? I'm confused.

The general rule is, if the warning light is steady You can drive it, and if it's flashing you shouldn't.

It's not advice but it is a general rule.

Thanks mate. I understand and the light is steady so surely, I can drive it for a while. But the question is to drive for how long and the long-term potential damage to the car.

I just called again today and four dealers around me said that the backorder is likely to be way longer than what they said earlier. One guy told me it will be probably more than 3 months.

Weird thing is they all said that they believe it's okay to drive while waiting. The 'problem' is that they all speak very vague words. For example, one service lady said she thinks it is not a bid deal and I don't need to worry, and another parts guy said that he 'believe it is okay' things like that. I wish there's an official answer to that.

Just remember, SAs all of them are not responsible for any future damage or issues with your car. This is so sad but it is what it is.
There is no way you can prove they told you, you can drive but it caused more damage and its on them.
So, PCV is a vent valve, from cylinders to outside, technically its not releasing pressure from cylinders leading to over-pressure, might lead to oil seepage. This is the worths case.
It definitely will cause rough idling and gas consumption.
Wondering if MB should pay for rental or provide a loaner if parts are on back order?

I drove more than 4 months with the cel code until I replaced the part diy.

my code was coming back after erased then hundreds km driving.

Sounds good mate! I guess I have no choice but to keep driving. You don't see any signs of issues when you replace the part? I still don't understand what this part does.

- Crankcase blowby gas pressure sensor is higher. Not released to the intake by pcv.
- mine was fixed after 7 months from the 1st p052e code .

Buy only the valve part. Find same valve around the intake throttle body. If the old thick hose shape is different, remove new hose clamp then buy a screw type clamp.

Two Hoses need to be modified. Screw hose clamps at a hardware store.
