Engine Oil level Cannot be Measured
I had a 'Engine oil Level Cannot be meaured' yellow message show up on my dash a couple days ago, any Ideas what it could be?
The message clears when the engine is switched off but reappears after a few minutes of driving, the car drives ok but today this message was accompanied
with the yellow engine light. Could it be a fuse or sensor issue?
I topped up a litre of oil as the oil level was showing minimum thinking this might be the problem but hasn't fixed the issue.
My car a 2018 - C class c220d, with 37k on the clock, AMG Line premium plus model.
I'm suppose to be going on holiday with this car in a couple weeks so need to have it fixed.
Is the car still ok to drive?

I think I did over fill the engine by 0.5l, I worked this out by entering the workshop menu in the car and checking the details.
The oil level in the servce menu just showed max, so today I had someone come out to drain some oil out and it's now sitting just above the minimum level.
The chap who drained the oil also did a basic diagnostic check on the car and a series of electrical errors has showed up, mainly codes relating to ciruit to ground errors.
Could it be the battery at fault or the oil level sensor causing these issues or something else, seems like an expensive bill coming up?
Car booked in to go into the garage on Thursday.
