2012 E350 W2012 Cylinder Numbering Chart

Hello,

I am looking for the numbering chart of the engine cylinders for my 2012 E350 V6 (W212).
Please provide the sequence as seen facing the engine (Left = Passenger and Right = Driver).

Thanks.

BANK 1:
The #1 cylinder is the closest to the alternator on passenger side.
The #3 cyl. closest to the battery in US cars.

BANK 2:
The #4 cyl. is the one closest to A/C compressor on driver side.
The #6 cyl. closest to brake booster in LHD cars

Meaning that 1, 2, 3 are on passenger side and 4, 5, 6 are on Driver side?

yes, 100 true.

Troubles for GDI engines come from Bank1 due to sharp HPFP lobes stressing Intake VVT gear under limited oiling.

Be sure to change your favorite oil around 3 to 5kMi, not 10, 15kMi.
