Bus brakes
Since acquiring my car a few months ago, I have noticed "bus brakes" sound from the front of my car at random times. Is this...normal?
I was just reading up on the Airmatic system and the description of air leaks signaling a failing system. I wonder if that is what I have been hearing, or if an air leak is more subtle, like a pinhole leak might sound?

In what kind of situation you hear that sound? On my S211, which only has the rear air suspension, not always, but many times when I use the key fob, it activates the valve on the compressor (at the front left cornes) to adjust rear height.

It's pretty random. After doing more research, I think it's the airmatic suspension. As a brand new owner, I have a general idea that there's something funny going on with compressed air up there. Doing more research I think it's the front airmatic compressors releasing air at random times while driving or as you say activating the key fob.
