2009 GL 320 Bluetec under performance
I bought this car from someone last year. The car was not working well and I was advised to buy a new engine.
I changed the engine, I have deactivated the adblue and dpf but Still low performance. The speedometer doesn't travel pass 65mph max on road and will not move again.
Performance is very poor when a climbing a hill as the accelerator pedal will to respond at all even when it is full depressed.
However, if the vehicle on idle, the rpm runs almost to 5 revs
OBD test on the car reads
105f00 one or more signals from control module a1 (ic) through the can bus is implausible.
I Have replaced the instrument cluster, but still gets the same code.
Can someone please help me out what the problem is?
I have really invested into this car.
Thanks

Sounds like you are stuck in a low boost situation, which could either be triggered by a limp home mode code set.
You will need a Mercedes star system to properly diagnose this as it’s little bit above and beyond the capability of a standard OBD system considering that you also have properly coded out adblue and EGR..
If you haven’t, that might be your reason for the car setting limp home mode.
