Why does my car vibrate and shudder when I'm at a stop,in drive,with foot on brake.it seems to pick up revs in park or neutral and is fine,no vibration?? Is this transmission??

It’s possible that you have worn motor or transmission mounts. I suggest that you search YouTube for videos showing failed mounts and see whether the symptoms seem similar to those displayed by your car.

I'd actually look into the alternator pulley.
Does the car also make a chirping sound if a) the AC is on, b) the car is in D or R, and c) the car is stopped with your foot on the brake?
Does the chirping sound and rough idle stop as soon as you release the brake and the car starts to roll?
