Disable ECO stop/start on 2014 SL63AMG?

I find the ECO feature on our SL63 a bit of a pain. I have checked the paper and digital manuals and there does not seem to be a way to disable the feature when the car is in comfort mode other than by pushing the button when it is glowing green or switching the suspension setting. I know it's not difficult to hit a button but if I forget and the car turns off at a stop it seems to hesitate a bit before we are on our way again. Even on go flat tires the ride is quite stiff and the roads in our area could be a lot smoother so we tend to like the comfort suspension setting.

Several (including me) have disabled the start/stop function using the Launch OBD scanner. Search the forum for related posts.

ECO Start/Stop, transmission modes, and suspension modes are all separate items and should be separately selectable, though I know some newer cars have pre-select combinations you can select.

Is disabling Start/Stop with Launch permanent turn off or does it remember the last selected mode (on or off)?

I think there's a last mode setting, but I didn't experiment beyond just killing it permanently.

The stock setting on mine has the eco mode activated when the car is started in Comfort mode. I'll try starting it in another mode then switching to C after the car is running.
