Transmission Fluid Change

2014 GL450
75,000 miles

I have some service records for the car but nothing indicates an ATF change. Here is my question, and I realize this is not ideal, but $1,400 is out of the question right now and that's two different shops pricing.
If I was to get the car up to operating temp and extract the ATF from the check/dipstick tube then refill from there, would this be OK minus the filter being changed?
I'm aware that the typical refill is from the pan and I'm aware that the filter should really be changed, but new fluid alone can't hurt, right?
I'm not having any issues with the trans, but I feel like if I'm going to have this car for a long time, I have to make sure these fluid maintenance items are done. I love this money pit of a car.
ATF 134FE? How much?
I'm changing the diffs and transfer case fluids in the next two weeks and plan to flush the coolant system before winter as well.

Thanks

It is about for transmission service. Usually changed at 70-75k miles. You can change both filter and transmission just check out youtube

no dipstick

You have to change the atf from the drain plug. Pump it back up. I highly advise to download the steps and read them completely. If you are not comfortable pay a shop. I would change all fluids before 80k
. Tranny, brake, radiator, both diffs and transfer case, power steering ,
Good luck and if you can’t find the tranny steps let me know

tranny fluid

Tranny fluid steps to changing. With the newer 7 speed make sure you have the correct inside filler tube.. there are green tubes and off white tube for different shaped pans.
