Recommendations on Ceramic Wax Brands
Time for a wax job on my E400 Wagon. I usually get carnuba wax and it is fine. Will I get better results with a ceramic wax? Are there brands that folks have had good success with?

Here is what I use and I am extremely satisfied: Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax:
As a prep, I first used Meguiar's Cleaner wax. I make sure the surface is as good as possible. Then I apply the Hybrid Ceramic Wax, as per the video once in the spring and once in the fall. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
You should be able to get 3 to 4 applications out of a bottle. As per the video, do not over apply.

Hope this helps and let us know what you think!

Nowadays I only use Meguiars ceramic car wash and ceramic spray wax or detailer. On new car and new paint, cars still look shiny and new 7 years later.
I tried turtle wax ceramic sprays but it takes a lot more effort to wipe off, very annoying.

Anyone you like is the one as truly there is not that much difference between them except the bite they take from your wallet, color and packaging.
Something about expensive car care products and people think they are the best.
It is what you like and care about and the look it gives as we all see things differently.
Any time spent detailing your car is good for the car and your soul/mind

Used the Turtle Wax brand "Hybrid Solutions Ceramic" on the '23 E450 wagon & the '94 E320 C124 Coupe. .. It's under $20 through Amazon for a 160z spray bottle.
Good result through the 2024 summer. .. I'd buy again.
