Time for a new starter. Word is out the right motor mount has to come out for that. There are 100 videos on doing this job on a 4MATIC, which is rumored to be simple. Mine isn't a 4MATIC, and for that I'm swimming in rumors of removal of the exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe, and/or alternator. But there is no clean information. I have access to WIS but it's not as thorough as I prefer for my first time doing this. So...has anyone done this who would be willing to provide a detailed walkthrough?
