2011 E250 DIESEL - P0236-28, P0236 & JERKING

Need some advice please. Codes tell me its a Boost Pressure Sensor which is common on these cars but the following I have never experienced with any of my 212s. Bought this car on 09/03/2025.

Service undertaken on 4/2 after approximately 13,500 miles. MOT was conducted on 12/02, only advisories were 'exhaust clamp loose' and 'oil leak but not excessive'. I am assuming that the oil leak has a big part to play in this.

On 7/2 the car starts jerking and refusing to change up gear. I park up for 4/5 minutes, turn it on and its driving fine. About 30 minutes later when I start the car, the same problem but this time with an EML.

On 8/2 I drive the car for about 175 miles, drives fine with no issues and after the 75 miles without stopping the car does not jerk. The next day 9/2 the EML went away and until the 15th when the EML came back, I did not need to start it twice to get it to stop jerking. Yesterday 16/2 it felt as if the engine was trying to jump out of the car on both cold-starts but did not happen today at all.

I also notice the car taking 3/4 minutes longer than usual to warm up, sounds 20% louder, thin white smoke from the exhaust and ignition struggles slightly.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
