Question High beam assist minimum activation speed adjustable?

I have a 2012 (pre-facelift) E500 with High Beam Assist (SA 608 and 622).
High beam assist only activates above ~50 km/h.
Is it possible to lower the minimum activation speed (for example to ~30 km/h) via Vediamo/DTS Monaco?

yes, it's absolutely possible. you will have to get it coded via software if you have it. If not, you can have someone do it for you remotely.

Thanks.

Do you know which control unit holds the parameter?
SAMF_172 or ILS (CTRL_C_204)?

Is it available via standard variant coding, or does it require firmware modification?

EASY DOES IT...

Plan B is you use a $130 LAUNCH scanner to customize the settings in your F-SAM at your leisure, as many as you desire.
This is pretty empowering... remember to keep track of what settings you worked on if you will.
A lot of adult geek fun

Honestly not sure, sorry. Coding is not my cup of tea.

Take 5mn to look at BOTH module variant coding options.

Why is that...
some cars will manage the speed switch in the SAM and other in the HL according to years.

Variant codings vary greatly according to chassis options. This is the real German magic to reuse standard parts configured specifically after production.

It can be self-explanatory in english and other times extra confusing.

Save your settings before committing changes.

Post screen caps as you see fit.
