They have good prices and quick delivery, but what annoys me is they often fulfill from multiple warehouses. You want 5 oil filters of a single type, and 3 are shipped from one location and 2 from another, and you get charged 2 shipping fees. When advised of this during ordering, I quit and order from other sellers. Online sellers that specialize in Euro brand parts usually are better stocked.
They are great until they are not. I use FCP now for all of MB parts. I only use Rock for my son's ancient Camry.
On more than one occasion I have had parts from RockAuto NOT be what they claimed. For instance, airbags for my E. They "say" they are Arnott....well, holding them next to a real Arnott...well..they are not Arnott. Had an issue with ignition coils as well (same coils in our E's, GLS and AMG). Then there was a oil cap for the C that they shipped an oil cap that fit my Sprinter 3500.....
RockAuto is great for many parts, esp for more mundane ones and non electrical.
FCP is also great, good customer service - easy RMA, but their prices have gone up over the last 3 years or so. I guess they have to make up for the free replacements.
@RVAE34 Yes, FCP is jacking their prices (some to dealership levels). For some items it is worth it for me - just for the lifetime warranty. Have an ignition coil on my desk right now that is going back.....(for credit).
