Coming back with a 2017 SL63
I just finalized the deal and the car will be shipped to me in Miami. Hoping to have it early next week. First things will be tires and resonator delete with x pipe. As some of you might remember, I had a 2013 SL550 that I totaled. Looking forward to rejoining the community. Here is a link to the car.

I purchased it from Bentley Indianapolis and I should have the car tomorrow or Saturday. I have attached a video from the dealership prior to getting on the truck. Getting excited as some parts are arriving. Michelin Pilot Sports 305/30/20 are here and the Gloss black badges for the rear are here. Waiting for the 265/35/19 Pilot Sports to come mid next week and the gloss black license plate frame. Also sometime next week I will get the resonator delete and xpipe done. Going to wrap the front grill gloss black as well but other than that, I don't think I need to do much else other than enjoy the heck out of it!

Yes, I have the badges like like in gloss black that I will use to replace the chrome ones. I also forgot to mention that rear spoiler, I have it in my eBay cart to replace the smaller one currently on the car.

The car arrived yesterday, which was a surprise as I was told Monday. I drove it straight to the car wash and then around for about 15 min. Overall very happy with having another AMG for sure. There are a couple insignificant things I need to fix that I wasn't aware of. Rear window tint, Cup holder lid and trunk partition. My dear friend is a trained MB mechanic for over 10yrs so I just have to buy parts and give him couple bucks for his time. If anyone is in the South Florida area and needs to do anything, message me as he is in Fort Lauderdale. Quick first impressions, it is not as loud as I thought it would be, especially upon start up. When you step on it is when you really hear it. As previously mentioned, I will be doing a res delete and x pipe this coming week that will bring a little more sound out of it. There is more lag when getting on the gas than I remember in my SL 550. During upshifts at aggressive throttle there is a bit of a delay when upshifting. It doesn't seem to be *that* much faster but again I only drove it for 15 min or so. I very much like the face lift as it is a 2017 and my SL550 was a 2013 so that is the biggest thing I can say as of this moment. I will report back when I get a chance to drive it more and when I get some of the mods done.

Congrats!! Looks like a nice car! The car should be a bit louder than either SL550 (the facelift is SL550 is louder than the original one) but not like the 4 liter engines. The turbo lag on these has always been very light and the AMG cannot have more lag unless something is wrong. Remember that the trunk divider on these are electric compared to the older model.
All AMG models have ABC suspension which makes lowering these a whole lot easier as well.
