Fuel filter

This is the fuel filter on my 2008 ML320 CDI. I am wanting to order one of FCP Euro. They have multiple ones listed. I would also like to change the fuel lines to it. I see they also have it as a kit. Do I stick with MB or is Mann okay as well?

It's likely that the MB branded part is manufactured by Mann.

The photo shows a serious mistake.

official Mercedes procedures expressly prohibit the use of screw type clamps at filter connections.

the requirement is new CLIC clamps each change.

sorry, but you will have to own a CLIC clamp pliers.

of course these are not everyday hoses as the pressures are high.

the Mann kit should be fine, as FCP is a reputable, skilled company.

your neighborhood auto parts dime store is not.https://www.hazet.de/en/products/han...-4000896051397

I noticed those clamps as well and chalked it up to a shop in Illinois. I want to buy the complete filter, hose, and correct clamp set. I will buy the correct tool to apply the correct clamps.
