W204 intermittent ESP ABS power steering malfuction
To give some history/background, all in the last month I had my rear subframe replaced, airbag recall with a low battery done ---- causing what I believe -- ESL failure ----causing --- had an emulator installed to bypass ESL lock, new H7 AGM Interstate battery from Costco replacement and last but not least my secondary air pump failed/blown 40A fuse for the 2nd time in 2 years which caused a check engine light that I repaired and cleared with the Launch Creader Elite V3. After all the repairs, except for the air pump, and driving about 50 miles with no messages - the air pump fuse blew and pump failed, which I replaced. This is right around the time theses messages started appearing daily. So now I have No check engine lights on, the car is running/steering/braking great, but I am getting this intermittent ESP, ABS, power steering malfunction and lights. Even after clearing the 5001 code it reappears the next day and same cycle, gone in the afternoon. I did notice that my new resting battery is sitting at 12.2 -12.3 volts when I start the car in the morning? It seems low for a new AGM battery, could this be causing the messages due to the voltage drop when cold starting? Was thinking about returning the battery for a different one. Anyone have some insight or any ideas? Thank you
