2016 C300 Transmission lurch when attempting to downshift
I've been noticing the last 5,000 miles or so sometimes when I give more throttle while moving when the transmission should downshift to a lower gear it will give this unsettling lurch almost like a harsh bang as it attempts to downshift and it doesn't even end up shifting into the lower gear like it should. I have about 62,000 miles and recently had the transmission fluid flushed at the dealer hoping that issue would be fixed but unfortunately it's still there. Its hard to re-create the perfect conditions to replicate the issue but it's very unsettling and has more worried my transmission is on its way out. Otherwise the normal shifting seems a bit smoother since the fluid change. Any ideas or recommendations on what to do?
