2017 carplay glc

Hi guys,

i used launch x431 and saw possibility to activate wired carplay
i enabled it and write it over
but nothing happens

do anyother tried also on same way?

Yeah, enabling it with X431 alone won’t work. You need a CarPlay activation dongle or a retrofitted USB port, plus sometimes coding the HU with Vediamo or DTS Monaco. X431 just shows the option but doesn’t fully unlock it on most GLCs.

As here on the forum you can find all the information about this topic, you may start with your VIN decoded and if the SA Code 154 is not present, there is no sens to try further.

vin decoder on this forum didnt find my vin
get this message: This VIN does not appear to be valid
