Crush washer

I know it probably has been asked before but...I couldn't find it. The last time I had the oil changed I forgot to get it went to the dealer and paid $9 for it. Can someone tell me the size and or part number, preferably from FCP, I plan on ordering tonight and once again just remembered to buy it. I think there has to bean acceptable alternate for much cheaper.

Thanks for any help

This kit might work if you haven't got the oil yet: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...moly-m178amggt

Thanks I dont have the oil but I bought a few filters from them. Will be buying oil from them going with LiquiMoly, MB spec 229.51. Just wanted to order everything I needed. I fell like it's crazy to spend $7 on a piece of copper. I know I spent a lot on the car but this seems extreme.

2020 GLS450 (wife) / 2024 Ford Bronco (mine) / 2014 VW Tiquan (son)
part # 007603-014106......

And thanks for the reminder to get some myself, as I have an oil change coming up soon!

Amazon:

Google AI:
The official OEM part number for the Mercedes-Benz M256 engine oil pan drain plug crush washer is
007603-014106. Because the M256 is the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine used across various modern Mercedes models (including your GLS 450, GLE 450, E 450, and S 500), it uses the exact same hardware configuration.

When you find the size, try Amazon -- I bought about a dozen M14s for about $5.

Curious about opinions on 0W40 Synthoil Energy Engine Oil (5 Liter) - Liqui Moly LM2050 vs Pennzoil Platinum Euro Full Synthetic 0W-40 . Both appear to meet the 229.5 spec for the '24 GLS 580. 5 quart price of $64 for LM to $26 for Pennzoil. I always used Pennzoil fully synthetic for a Ram 1500 Hemi for ten years with no issues. Apologies for more questions on oil, this time not concerned with best but if it meets MB specs does it matter?

Thanks

I just bought a half dozen oil filters for my G550 and X7, both Hengst brand, but different filter sizes. Curiously, the X7 filter was provided with a large cannister o-ring, a replacement cannister drain plug + o-ring, and a copper crush washer. The G550 filter was provided with only a large cannister o-ring. Both vehicles have cannister drain plugs and metal sump drain plugs.

Won't engage on debate of oil brands, but will say that it is very important to pick one that does indeed meet MB spec requirements.

I ran an oil analysis not too long ago at 93k on mine, always used MB spec at 5w30, the internals of the engine were utterly flawless, other than starting to show signs of increased viscosity at 6,300 miles, which tells me to not stretch it much past 6k miles for oil changes regardless of brand type or manual recommendations (10k).

Just sole personal experience, nothing more nothing less. I've always used M1 in all of my cars for the last 25 years, never once had an issue in any of them. Even on the GTI's (4 of them) which were all tuned and "enjoyed" (but not abused).

If they dealer charged you for it...they are douch bags. The factory oil change included a filter, oil, gaskets and a washer....99.99999% of dealers never use the washer as they suck out the oil. My mechanic has a bag of about 5000 of them (both sizes) from the oil changes at the dealership....they are give aways....
