I owe my life to the USAF doctors who saved my life in April,1973. They were at R.A.F. Upper Heyford, England. I was sick with a very high fever, they made good decisions. I had last rites I was so sick. My fever dropped and returned to normal.

Interesting (possibly to some) story. US Army basic training August’79, Fort Dix N.J. Years later, I was assigned to Flight Deck officer school in Lakehurst NJ, and while there, was able to revisit my basic training post. It was all but shut down, just as my military career was winding down.
