US Army please & thanks for the recognition. Got my 1st Mercedes in Deutschland while in the Army in mid-80's - '84 380SEL - brought it back to US. What a beast - just got rid of it this past summer.

I always want to say "thank you" when people thank me for my service...I suppose I want to thank them for recognizing the sacrifice of service members. I know the proper response is "you are welcome" but it sounds smug. I know it shouldn't, but for some reason it does to me. You wrote "to recognize...we are now offering". and then you thanked us for our service. So, to your first statement I say thank you for recognizing our contribution to the Nation...and to your second statement...humbly, you are welcome.
