SL 600. Chip upgrades / Remapping?
Does anyone know of a decent chip upgrade? I've been told it can increase the mpg and drivability...

Just bought HiPerformance Chip(set of two) from Ebay and let me tell you I am impressed!!!I was very sceptical and did alot of research before buyn' it,but NOW the car screams not only on 1st-2nd,but 2nd-3th.4000rpm and up...scary!!!
Don't know the top speed...but I don't realy care!It is fun as it is!
I might need rear tires soon!

Just did a rebuild on a '94 600sl and cost $185 incl: overhaul kit,filter, clutches and bands +10 hrs labour...
It rounds up about $1200...
