Not familiar with exactly what you have, but one way to remove stick on badges is to warm them with a hair dryer and pull some string fishing line through behind the badge. If it's just flat, you need to peel it off, very gently and then use some sort of solvent to remove the adhesive. You can get label remover from office supplies stores, or else use electronic cleaning solvent from the likes of Radio Shack (do they still exist in the US, long gone as Tandy here in the UK).

Badge Removal

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I used plain old dental floss and unwanted 3M style adhesive badges have come right off. I also followed it up with a gentle, paint-friendly solvent sold by 3M that takes off old wax (and adhesive) but will not soften or damage auto paint or lacquer. Also, Formby's Lemon Oil (commonly used as a wood finish) will take off adhesive and rinse right off the paint with no damage whatsoever.

You can use paint thiner to help remove the badge. It will not hurt the paint at all. Just for reference I used to paint cars for a upscale body shop.
