SL/R129: ESP Warning Light Flashing
I was roaring arround in the country yesterday.
I experienced the normal wheel spin ESP warning alot on my 1 1/4 hour tour :v .
At one point I noticed the ESP light flickering strongly when I was taking an off ramp way faster than normal. I was coasting while going through the clover leaf off ramp. At the time I definitly felt the rear inside brake pulsating quite hard. I don't think I know I was not accelerating in a way to cause wheel spin at that point.
At another point I was driving at about 50 mph and then accelerated hard through a long ravine dip / long sweeping curve simultaniously. I senced I was pushing the envelope for grip on this curve, saw the ESP ligh flicker less brightly and senced more of a constant pressure on the rear inside brake. Due to the acceleration this could have been a wheel spin warning.
My questions ... 1) does the ESP light flash on skid control intervention? 2) does the ESP intervention vary in brake pressure and frequency?
