"Chirp" when putting into gear
I have sometimes noticed lately that when starting the car after sitting for the week, ... there is one quiet "chirp" noise the comes from under the car near the fire wall, the intsant of putting the car into reverse to back out of the parking spot.
If I remember correctly, it may be that it only happens when the car is cold from sitting for 5 days. Doesn't seem to happen again for the rest of the weekend driving.
Does any one relate to what I am talking about?
Is this something that should be looked into?
I have the 3 year extended warranty (good till June 2006) ... so cost of repair if needed is not a concern.
