Help needed with in car phone R129
When I bought my 1999 SL320 there was a Nokia HSE6XN obviously installed in he car when new. It is the old fashioned cradle type with speaker on the side and kitted out with hands free. The only problem is there seems no place to put the sim card which the handset is asking for. I have looked in all the most likely places but no luck, I am wondering if anyone out there can please help this is very frustrating. The antenna seems to be the tax disc holder is it likely that the box that holds the sim card could be in the passenger side air bag compartment, if so is this accessable

I apologize for hijacking your thread, but I gotta know. What is a tax disc? I have seen these for sale before and I can not figure out what they are.
Also, you may want to include the year model of your car as it will help people know exactly what you have.

Thank you for your response it is a 1999 model, the tax disc holder is where you put a round piece of paper which costs you $300 a year for the privelige of driving on British roads. Where we still pay $7.00 a gallon for gas thats why i have a Sl320 not a sl500
