1999 Mercedes Benz SL500 & 2009 E350 4Matic Wagon
Question Electrical Sender on Sway Bar
I have a '99 SL500. As I was cleaning the wheel wells today, in preperation for a MBCA "Show & Shine" event, I noticed that on the right front as well as the right rear there is an electrical sending unit attached between the roll bar and the frame. Does anyone know what the function of this sender is?????

It´s for the self-levelling suspension.

If you have xenon lights it could also be for the self leveling xenons.

Sway Bar Sensors
I do have the xenon lights, so that is probably what they are for as I do not have the leveling that comes on the SL600 -- THANKS!!
