I had the same probleem on my 98. I called a place called; Car stereo help.com at 800-428-1909 And the tech. told me that my unit was an Alpine and that I can buy a magazine at any music store which I did for a cost of $20.00. Call them and tell them the year and model and they will be able to tell you the make of your CD player.

I haven't tried any but the one that came with the car but the magazine appears to be a standard Alpine magazine that's available at any Alpine dealer (many car audio shops and big box stores).
