Question Zero Air Flow Center Vents "95" sl600

Help, hopefully some have expirenced and corrected this malady? I can not get any air from the center vents noted as #8 with either #9 or #10 pushed as outlined in the owners manual. Hot or cold no air from the center vents, fan blows low to high on all other vents including defrost outlets. Thank you for the advice and participation. ST.

Do you get any air into the footwell, and does the cold air work through the air-con?

Yes air to the footwells, A/C too, and the little square does light on the console and both the buttons lite one at a time between the center vents. But no flow.

Sounds like it isn't the control unit then, but if it is, a replacement is very expensive... Have you checked for blockages, and if you can get the vent off the dash check for corroded connections... the ac leaves a lot of moisture, and it needs to be used regularly.

theres a vacuum pod pullling it open. chances are the pod is bad. if u can't fix it, take it in. for the broke customers what i do is i bend the rail to permanently keep it open.... cause its no fun pulling all that stuff

Zero Air Flow Center Vents

Thank you for pretty much convincing me what I was having trouble coming to grips with. I long for a cable moving a lever, yes sometimes yankee lawn mower will beat Stutgart's over engineering
