Instrument Cluster
Does anyone know if the instrument cluster from 95 SL 500 will fit a 92 300 Sl without any modifications?

According to my data there are at least 5 variants of the IC for the SL300, but I haven't had chance to compare with the SL500. Also, some variants need reprogramming using MB diagnostic tools (HHT).

The 95 Model Cluster Has A Digital Milometer, While The 92 Is Analogue. Mercedes Do Not Manufacture The Analogue Ones Anymore So If You Were To Buy A New Cluster From Them It Would Have To Be A Digital One. Sometimes Its A Straight Fit With No Problems And Sometimes There Is A Slight Modification That Needs To Be Made But I'm Not Sure What It Is. Compare The Plugs At The Back Of The Cluster. Plz Correct Me If I'm Wrong But This Info Was Given To Me By A Mercedes Specialist.
