some
some more little things with the goose

hey guys, it seems that my RPMs in Drive are very very low, they stay between 490-500 at idle. i heard that they should be around 700-725.

also, sometimes if i am at a light, and i put the pedal to the floor (past the kickdown) i sometimes hit my revlimiter at like 6200Rpms. i think it might be my transmition cable thing (the one that streches out when you kick down). but im not 100%.

any help would be awsome!

'93 SL500
For my '93 the rpm in N is 600-650 and will drop to precisely 500 in D. I believe this is as originally spec'd.

Sorry, no nothing about kick down

Well it would have nothing to do w/ your throttle cable, as that can not stretch or take it past the limiter. Our vehicles are electronically limited. I don't know why yours is bouncing off of the limiter .
