95 SL500 What plugs and how many? Slight mis.
The wife said the car had a mis today. It was doing it for a while. She brought it to me at the office and it had a mis. Later I went out re-started the car and drove it.. it was fine. So I gave it an Italian yune up. 
And it had a terrible smell. I'm thinking that it may have had fuel in the cat and when I got it hot it made this smell. (A bit like sewage)
She babies the car. Like way too much. The car runs fine now. But I am concerned this problem will happen again.
I'm going to change out the plugs and wires. Anyone know what plugs this thing takes and how many?
Has anyone else run across a sim situation? The car has about 67k.

It have 8 plugs.......it not a easy job.........have someone who know about the R129 work on it......Try to drive it hard and see if it go away......Anyway good luck.......

It was the O-ring underneath the two caps. It allowed water to get between the cap and rotor. It had a green/blueish ting to the powder like substance.
New cap/rotors/plugs $380.00 and she runs great again.

if you are smelling the bad smell throught the exghaust.... then becareful.... your cats might be taking a crap on you. if you suddenly feel like your car is sluggish, and there is a lack of power, dont be afraid, its just your cats need changing
