Can 06 SL500 AMG twin spoke rims fit 00 SL500?

I just got a CPO 00 SL500 (30,000 miles, non sport package) and it has the 17' rims on. I might be able to get a set of take off AMG twin spoke (AMG sport package) from a 06 SL500.

The AMG's has 35mm and 40mm offset, would that fit my 00 Sl500 without any problem?

I paid $31,000 for it before tax, it is a good deal? (even though it is too late if it is not) I did not plan to buy but when I saw it on the MB website, just cannot get my mind off it. It has been my dream car since 1990.

Cheers

The 129 offset is ET25, you could use the new wheels with spacers.

If you don't use spacers, they will look a little odd!
