factory silver arrow rotors?
will the factory drilled silver arrow rotors fit on my 1993 sl 500?
if so, does anyone have any part numbers for the front and rear?
thanks

SL500 2001 Formula 1 Edition;
It appears that I have the rotors on my 2001 w/sport suspension. They were on when I got them. So, apparently they will work on more than just silver arrow.
I am pretty sure you can get the part number from the dealer parts department, no?

2001 SL500, designo blue and 2004 C320S
Part Numbers, but confirm
I am thinking of the same thing for my 2001 designo, but not "sport", the 02 silver arrow partnumbers I find are, as follows but please confirm. I am trying to find out if the same calipers are usable and if the discs are the same diameter and thickness as the stock ones.
Front 129 421 23 12
Rear 129 423 05 12
Question, other than looking neat, any benefit as compared to stock?
Have heard drilled rotors are subject to cracking.
Let me know what you find out.

I put a set of cross drilleds on my '98 Deville. They were not much better than stock in normal driving but in the rain they definately gripped better, but here is the problem.....the brakes, tires, suspension, etc are all designed to work together. With the cross drilled rotors on wet roads I almost always had the antilock brakes kick in to balance the fact that the brakes grabbed better than the tires could handle before they started to slip. Not only that but everytime I stepped on the brakes it sounded like a terrible groaning noise. I took them off after about a year.
