Door Locks

So I finally took my car out of Winter storage and found out the doors no longer lock remotely. When I trigger the remote, the indicator lights on the doors and trunk falsh green or red, however, the doors are not locked. I tried using the key in the trunk switch, again, all lights flash, but only the trunk locks. I now have to lock the doors individually. Before, the car went into storage, everything was fine.
Any ideas, before I head to the shop?

Hmm, although I wouldn't really toy with it, my best guess would be a lubrication problem. Since it was in storage and not used regularly, they could have simply jammed up. Removing the actual pins and applying any universal mechanical lubricator to the ends might do it. Once again, this is only a guess. Any independent MB shop could probably fix it in no time.

Is your vacuum pump running, can you hear it? It's int he boot (trunk), stick your head in a listen when you operate the locks.

If it is you have a significant leak - somewhere! If not check fuse

Same problem for me. I replaced the pump, but it didnt make any difference.

I can hear the whirring sound coming from the trunk. So I assume the pump is working. Is this something that could probably be re-snyched?

Make sure the car is unlocked, Replace the batteries in the key fob(s) , insert into the ignition and start the car. By placing the key into the ignition, the key Fobs will receive the codes from the car and re-sync for the car.
Shut of the engine and try again to lock/unlock the car from the key fobs.
This should do the trick.
