Air Conditioning and Hard Cornering

Noticed something while driving around the other day. It was eighty degrees out, but the clouds seemed to hint oncoming rain, so I didn't risk taking the top down. So, in order to deal with the humid climate, I turned the A/C to the lowest temperature setting and the maximum fan speed. Side note: I am very impressed with this feature the car has, where it blows cold air to pedal area. Moving along, I take a corner fairly hard and hear this very lound whirring noise coming from the A/C. I tried it once again, to be certain that it occured while taking a tight turn, and it proved to be so. Any idea what this is?

When you corner hard the blower motor and blades shift slightly causing the blades to rub against the air plenum. It is not uncommon.

Mine does it too. Only on left turns. I can control the volume of the buzz by cornering harder or less. Is there a fix? If not fixed is it indicative of a uncoming inop condition???

Hmm, so it doesn't sound like too big of a problem. I guess I'll just keep it off the maximum fan speed for aggressive driving.

I don't think it will get worse, so you could just forget about it. But if you wanted to, you could better secure the motor.

Yup, yup, yup

Funny, I was just describing this same condition in another post. I have the same thing happen to me when performing hard manuvers. I ain't big on it, but I ain't really worried about it. If it breaks, I'll fix it, otherwise it works fine.
