Keyless Entry Remote Programming

I purchased a keyless entry button on EBAY last week (same part number as my broken one). Does anyone know how to reprogram it to work on my car or if it is even possible? Thanks Bob

Only your benz dealership can supply them.... at a cost. They get coded according to VIN. Just be thankful you are not in Australia, they are $460 here. (US$350). Don't ask how I know.

Since you have not filled in your profile I am unable to determine the year of your car but you can go to your Owners Manual and look for Synchronizing remote control

"To synchronize system, aim transmitter eye at vehicle door receiver or rear view mirror and briefly press transmit button twice. Within approx. 30 seconds insert key in steering lock and turn it to position 2."
